What makes it a game
Versus: challenge another team, with something at stake.
Pick a rival at your level, name the sport, the time and the court. They have hours to answer, not days. Win and you move up the table — lose and they do.

Is MatchSquads free?
Yes. Finding matches, joining them, your team and the chat are free, and they stay free. If a paid tier ever arrives it will be for extras clubs ask for — never for the part you use every week.
Do I need a team to start?
No. Join open matches on your own and you are playing this week. Create a team, or get invited to one, whenever it makes sense — nothing is locked behind it.
Which sports does it cover?
Football, futsal, padel, tennis, basketball, volleyball and around twenty more — including esports, because a five-a-side and a five-stack have exactly the same organising problem.
What if I do not know anyone who plays?
That is the case we built for. Matches near you show how many places are left and what level they are, so your first game is one you can actually walk into.
Is there a version I can use on a computer?
Yes. The web app runs in any browser with the same account — handy for setting a league up. The phone app is the one you want at the pitch.
What happens to my data?
We are a European company under the GDPR. We do not sell your data and we do not put ads in your chat. What we store, why, and for how long is written out in plain language.
